working full time and part time

Well I am still working my full-time job as a teacher and  time job as a consultant for a cosmetic company. I love the company, and it's products, but certainly I don't get enough revenue from that to cover my full-time job.

What can I do? First, I will increase my productivity for one I know my circle of influence is pretty small. At the business groups I belong to NAWBO and ABWA the women try to support each other. So one way to increase my circle of influence is to understand which other businesses I can help and how they can help me.

Seriously it is going to take a few years before a good customer base can be developed. It is difficult unless your involved with some different groups or have a ton of friends willing to help you.

First, get to know more people, listen to them, what do they need? Try to fill that need as you can. Do they want someone to listen to them? Mostly we're all trying to get something from our friendships. Having someone listen to us is tremendous. 
The process of getting to be someones consultant is a long one and can't be done at business groups. Oh yes, you'll possibly get one or two to order something from you but you want to build a business. So what is the use in have contacts at a business group. These are your center of influences. They can refer you and you can refer them so choose wisely.

Invite people you think would be good cernter of influences to coffee or tea and find out more about the person. Then be honest about your needs. It's very likely that you can help each other keep in contact and meet occasionally especially if you like this person.
